Emily Bett Rickards (born July 24, 1992) is a Canadian actress. She was the character Felicity in The CW Television Series Arrow. Rickards was raised and was born to British Columbia. Beginning on her career path as a child, she introduced herself to dance and theatre with the hope of later taking on more serious acting. She graduated from the Acting Essentials Programme through Vancouver Film School. Vancouver Film School after graduating from high school. In the open call that followed, an agent was found for her. She studied at The Alida Vocal Studio in Vancouver. Originally signed as a one-episode guest on the show, her relationship with the show's star Stephen Amell coupled with positive reactions from fans as well as her humorous quips resulted in her first being signed as a recurring co-star in the remainder of the initial season. She was then signed as a regular character during the second season.
