Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin was born in Winnipeg and raised in Wellington. She became an actor in the role of Flora McGrath, a character in the romantic drama film The Piano. Paquin is a native of Winnipeg and grew up in Wellington she made her first appearance as Flora McGrath when she played her role in The Piano. Paquin appeared as Frankie Addams in a 1997 television film adaptation of Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding and also played a part as Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997). She portrayed teenagers on the screen in Hurlyburly (1998) She's All That (1999) as well as A Walk on the Moon (1999) as well as the character of a groupie Polexia Aphrodisa in Almost Famous (2000).
