Dolly-Parton

Dolly Parton escaped the struggles that shaped her life at an early age thanks to her inventive and innovative imagination. Before she learned to write or read, she had already composed her own music. She got her first guitar when she was 8 and started singing at an Knoxville Tenn radio station at age 11. She recorded her first album within the same calendar year on Gold Band Records, a small independent label. While she was an established local celebrity while at the high school years, her goals were greater. She relocated to Nashville the day after graduating in 1964. The first charting record she had on Monument Records included Dumb Blonde and Something Fishy both in 1967. Porter Wagoner had been looking for female performers to join his syndicated show at this point. Parton was hired in the year 1966. She was signed to RCA Records in 1968, and then the Grand Ole Opry was founded in 1969. However she left Wagoner's show in 1974, as her own releases such as Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene were out-charting their collaborations. The song by Parton, I Will Never Love You (for Wagoner), hit the number. #1 spot following their broke up. It was the first time a single reached No.
