Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu, an American voice actress, director, as well as a talented actress. An attractive, clever and skilled actress, she is an example to Asian actors who want to be big stars in Hollywood. Her early success was boosted by her appearance on a few popular show. There, she portrayed the evil Ling Woo. The actress translated her sudden popularity into big screen roles in films such as Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. The actress then gave a superb performance in the role of Japanese criminal lord O'Ren Ishii in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. In the meanwhile, she also played lead roles in some film that did not make the top of the charts, like Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started to voice prominent characters from animated films such like Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's small-screen role in Cashmere Mafia did not produce the desired results. A recurring role in the critically acclaimed police drama Southland allowed her to regain her status as a prominent actress. Liu takes great care in selecting her roles, so she's not a typecast. Although she is adamant about her heritage however, this has not hindered her when it comes to her career in the field of art.
