Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian, host of a TV show and performer most well-known for her role as host of the popular daytime talk show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas, was raised in the area of Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised by the midst of a challenging family. Sheryl was fostered by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered with the disease of Polio. She had a lot of issues with her mother when growing as a teenager. Sheryl alleges that, at one point, her mother knifed her father after he got too close to her. Sheryl was a soldier after she graduated from college. However her interest lay in comedy. She was selected as the first woman to be a finalist in the Miller Lite Comedy Search, which was held in 1989. Her TV career after becoming frequently performing on the HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She hosted the show in 2000. The show Oh Drama! The show has also featured her as host on The Talk since 2011. Also, she appears in fictional roles in shows like Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
